Designed as a retreat from everyday life on the coast of  California. Spending a lot of time on the road, the owner lovers her car, and wanted this house to evoke the same sense of freedom and comfort that she feels while on the road. Modest in size, this house utilizes  a single unibody frame composed of Glu-Laminated beams that curve and shift towards the ocean. Throughout the day shadows dance across the surfaces like the sun on ocean waves.
